About Textile Quick Score
Textile Quick Score is a register of the Indian textile trade. It lists manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, boutiques, exporters, suppliers, traders and the agents who broker between them, searchable by product, composition and city — with the facts about each firm a buyer would otherwise spend a week ringing around to establish.
A register, not a directory
A directory is a list you consult. A register is a record somebody is answerable for. Every entry here was put on by a named person — the owner, a field agent under their own PAN, or a company representative on letterhead — so if information turns out to be wrong, there is a name attached.
There is no score
An earlier version of this product gave every business a number out of 1000. We removed it entirely. A single figure invites you to stop thinking, and it is exactly the sort of thing that ends up sold to whoever pays most. You get checkable facts and who vouched for them.
What we are not
Not a credit bureau and not a lender — we make no judgement about whether a firm will pay you. Not a marketplace — we do not sell products, take orders, or hold or settle money between two firms. We publish what firms, agents and trade associations have filed, say plainly what has not been checked, and let the trade decide.
How it is paid for
Searching is free. Registration is ₹1,000 and covers 2 years. We are not collecting it yet — finish your listing now and we will ask when payments open, and tell you before we do. Advertising pays for the rest of it, and what advertising can buy is published — along with the list of things it can never buy: placement on a listing or a dispute page, position in name-search, or the removal of a complaint or a business. That list is the reason the rest is worth reading.
One product, two front doors
There is a website and an Android app, and they are the same register with the same menu and the same screens. If something is in one and not the other, that is a bug, and we would like to hear about it.
Where we are starting
Textile in Uttar Pradesh first, then the rest of the country. A register is only useful when it is dense, so we would rather be complete in one trade and one state than thin everywhere.
