Delete your data
How to close your account and have your personal details removed from Textile Quick Score. Last updated 1 October 2026.
This page applies to Textile Quick Score — the website and the Android app of the same name. There is no charge.
One distinction runs through everything below. Your account is your way in — your name, your mobile number and your sign-in — and it is yours to delete. A business listing is an entry on a trade register about a firm, which other traders rely on. It is not deleted when an account is closed.
How to close your account
In the app, this takes a minute and needs nobody’s help: open Account → Close your account, read what goes and what stays, and type your mobile number to confirm. Your number, your name and every session you are signed in on are gone immediately.
If you would rather write to us, or you no longer have the app, send one email. There is no form to fill in and nothing to install.
- Write to contact@textilequickscore.com with the subject Deletion request.
- Give the mobile number you signed in with.
- If you also want your personal contact details taken off a business listing, say which listing — its GSTIN or the phone number on it.
- We will ask for one document showing you are who you say — for a listing, a GST certificate, a Udyam certificate, or a utility bill in the firm's name. One, not five.
We act within 30 days of confirming who you are, and we write back to tell you it is done.
What is deleted
- Your name, your mobile number and your sign-in details.
- Every session you are signed in on, on every device.
- Requirements you posted, and the number attached to them.
- Your agent profile, if you had one.
- Feedback you sent us from the app.
What is kept, and for how long
Some things survive an account being closed. We would rather say so plainly than discover it together later.
- Business listings — kept on the register. A listing you registered or claimed stays, with its firm name, trade name, products, photographs, GSTIN, PAN and Udyam number, and the results of every GST check run against it. A firm's entry belongs to the firm, not to the account that typed it in, and the firm still exists after you leave the app. The link between the listing and your account is removed.
- GST declarations — kept with the listing. If you declared that a firm's GSTIN matched the government record, the declaration stays as evidence about that firm, without your name.
- Complaints and their replies — kept indefinitely. A dispute record that disappears when one side asks is worth nothing to the trade. A complaint you filed stays with your name removed; a complaint about a firm stays whether or not anyone from that firm has an account.
- Reviews you wrote — kept, unattributed. The review stays on the firm's listing and is shown as written by a member who has since left.
- Transaction records — kept, without your name. A record of a purchase is also the other party's receipt of their own dealing.
- Bank account details held against a listing — kept with the listing. They were only ever stored for settling a dispute and are served to nobody.
- Server logs, including IP addresses — kept 90 days, then discarded automatically. These exist for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
We may also keep the minimum needed to meet a legal or tax obligation, for as long as that obligation lasts, and nothing beyond it.
Your personal details on a listing
A listing stays, but a person's own contact details on it need not. Ask us to take your personal mobile number, email address or home address off a listing and we will — same address, same 30 days. The firm's name, its GSTIN and other registration numbers, its GST check history and its complaints are records about the business and stay. A register entry with fewer contact details is still a register entry.
