Privacy policy
How Textile Quick Score handles your information. Last updated 8 September 2026.
Textile Quick Score is a register of the Indian textile trade, operated in India. It lists businesses and the checkable facts about them so buyers and sellers can find one another. This policy covers both the website and the Android app.
What we collect
When you sign in. Your name, and either an email address or a mobile number, depending on which way in you choose. If you use Google, we receive your name and email address from Google — nothing else.
When you list a business. The firm's name, at least one public identifier (GSTIN, Udyam or PAN), phone number, address, and whatever else you choose to add such as products, working hours or photographs. A listing is public by design; that is the point of a register.
When you record a transaction or raise a complaint. The counterparty, invoice number, date, amount and any proof you attach.
When you post a requirement. What you want to buy and a number sellers can reach you on.
Technical information. Your IP address, in server logs, for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
What we do not collect
- Your location never leaves your device. The app may ask for approximate location to pre-fill your city. It is turned into a city name on the phone itself and stored there. It is never sent to us.
- No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, no crash reporting. The app contains no advertising SDK, no Firebase, no Google Analytics and no tracker of any kind. We cannot follow you across other apps or websites, because we have not built the means to.
- No passwords. Sign-in is by one-time code or Google. We never see, store or transmit a password.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera roll or precise location.
Why we collect it
- To publish a business listing, which is the service you asked for.
- To let a buyer contact a seller, and to let a seller answer.
- To keep a record of a transaction or complaint so it can be acted on later.
- To stop abuse of the service.
What is shared, and what is not
A business listing is public. Your firm's name, city, identifiers and contact number are visible to anyone using the register — that is what makes you findable.
A requirement you post is shown to sellers in the category you chose, and to nobody else. A complaint is visible with its evidence, and the business named in it has a right of reply.
We do not sell your data. Not as a list, not to advertisers, not to anybody. Advertising on the register is placement, never access to your details.
We use these processors, and no others: Neon (database and authentication, Singapore region), Netlify (website hosting), Razorpay (payments, only if you buy advertising), and Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google).
Bank details
If you add bank details to a listing they are stored for settling a dispute and are served to nobody — not to other users, not through our API. They are the one field the public interface cannot read.
How long we keep it
A business listing stays on the register, with its GSTIN, PAN, Udyam number and GST checks, because it is a record of a firm rather than of a person. Complaints and their replies are kept as a record, because a dispute history that vanishes is worthless. Server logs are kept for 90 days. If you delete your account we remove your name, your mobile number and your sign-in; a complaint or review you filed remains, with your name removed.
Your rights
You can ask us to correct a listing, take your personal contact details off one, or delete your account. Write to the address below with the GSTIN or the phone number on the record. We will ask for one document to establish you are who you say — one, not five — and act within 30 days. The steps, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept, are set out on how to delete your data.
Children
This is a business tool. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
Data is held in an encrypted database, reached over TLS. Access is limited to the people running the service. No system is perfect, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
Contact and grievances
For any privacy question, correction or deletion request, or to reach the Grievance Officer under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the rules under it:
